Learn the mechanics of photography. I will be teaching out the the book, Basic 35mm Photo Guide for beginning photographers by Graig Alesse and Photoshop Elements 7 book for digital photographers by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski. Once a month we will go on a fieldtrip to downtown or in the mountains for a photo shoot (This will be separate from the Friday school schedule). At the end of each month we will have a photo critique where students can submit up to three photos. The critique will be based upon the bylaws of the Colorado Council of photographers. This class will be a great place to learn about how a camera works, their lenses, and how to edit photos digitally. Our critiques will encourage and inspire each of us to find the glory of God in His creation.
